The process starts before the workshop and is moving to completion after the workshop. Please find below an overview of the steps.
If you feel called, please fill out the secure, encrypted application form (link to jotform). Once the application form has been processed, we respond and may contact you with questions. If Holotropic Breathwork is not suitable for you, we will let you know. Your application will be valid upon receipt of the registration form and the participation fee.
The holotropic process begins once your registration is confirmed. During this process you can contact us by email or phone. If desired, we will provide individual support for your preparation. You will receive an email from us the weekend before the workshop with information to help your arrival and participation.
The workshop is held in a group of up to 30 people. It begins on Friday (non-residential) or Thursday (residential) and ends on Sunday. The three-day workshop includes two holotropic breathwork sessions, the four-day residential workshop includes four holotropic breathwork sessions. By mutual consent, couples, family members and friends may also participate in the workshops.
Upon arrival, you will meet us and your group mates. We will then introduce Holotropic Breathwork™ and explain everything you need to know to have an optimal experience.
We will continue the preparation with inner work and then sharing, which will help you connect with yourself and with other members of the group.
At the end of the day, you will find your breathing partner whom you will work together till the end of the workshop.
*(For residential double breathwork workshop, the third day, as well)
In the morning and afternoon, there will be two approximately 3-hour long Holotropic Breathwork sessions, where you and your breathing partner will alternately breathe.
As a "breather", lying on a mat, supported by your own breath and the music, you gradually enter an expanded, holotropic state of consciousness. You connect with your own inner wisdom, which brings unique, actual and meaningful experiences for you.
As a "sitter", you support your breathing partner with your presence and attention.
As facilitators, we are present, provide professional support when required and help to bring the process to secure completion. After the breathing sessions, you will have the opportunity for creative expression (making a mandala or collage) to help give form to your experience.
In the morning, you will have the opportunity to share experiences in community: you can put your own experiences into words and listen to the experiences of your fellow participants. Afterwards, you will receive guidance and practical tools for implementing the changes that have started.
Finally, we will conclude the workshop and say farewell to each other.
